- The front lawn of Halswell is suitable for a diverse arrangement of activities. Some obvious examples come to mind such as archery, team sports/activities, hunt the Head of Human Resources and bouncy castles. The list is only limited by your imagination.
- Colleagues and bosses no, clay pigeons, yes. This can take place in the parkland behind the Mansion House itself. Full details on request.
- Yes, we do. Special needs can be addressed as and when you know your requirement.
- Yes, we can provide these and place them within any of the main reception rooms.
- Yes, all downstairs reception rooms have access to the internet.
- The ballroom and main dining hall can be set up in theatre style, conference style or any alternative layout you require. Please note that if the number of delegates exceed 80 then we would recommend a standard size chair as apposed to the Regency and William 1V style versions shown on this website.
- We have had themed parties at Halswell from medieval to masque balls. We allow themes, however, as the house is grade 1 listed, this will be subject to requirements.
- Yes, but they must take place before 10.30pm and we do ask for a donation to be made to the local church - we like to keep our neighbours happy.
- In the Mansion House there are six double rooms and six twin rooms available - all have en suite facilities. There are a further five bedrooms which can be added if required. Please call us to discuss this.
- We have a specialized list of recommended caterers who can advise on your specific needs. Anything is possible from simple tea and coffee to full dinner menus.
- There is a sound system available in the house for CDs but if you require a more 'animated' facility then we can recommend performers from cabaret and string quartets to disco.
